As a Public Relations and Marketing Specialist for The Virginia Department of Fire Programs (VDFP), our mission was to enhance public safety throughout the Commonwealth. On this page you will see my contributions to the communications department which included pioneering our monthly internal newsletter (VDFP Dispatch), creating marketing campaigns, and graphics for print and social media, crafting our weekly external newsletter to all of Virginia’s Fire Service, supporting our annual memorial service, providing video prodution and much more.
The Virginia Falllen Firefighters and EMS Memorial Service is an annual service which honors fallen firefighters for their bravery and dedication to the citizens of the Commonwealth.
